Visbids’ Approach
Each estate presents a unique situation, and we tailor our process to meet the specific needs of the client and the property. We begin with a consultation to understand the scope of the estate and your priorities, whether you’re acting as an executor, trustee, or family member assisting with a transition.
Our first step is to help you determine what items have current market value. Using our industry experience and market knowledge, we offer honest advice about what is worth selling, what can be donated, and what should be discarded. This helps avoid unnecessary storage costs and delays.
Once the saleable contents have been identified, we coordinate logistics. In most cases, items are transported to one of our facilities in Brantford or Milton (Moffat). If the property allows and the sale has sufficient scale, we may conduct an online auction from the estate location.
We handle the entire process, including cataloguing, photography, auction listing, buyer communication, pickup coordination, and final settlement. Auctions are marketed through HiBid Ontario and our own network to reach a wide audience of buyers across Ontario and beyond.

How Selling with Visbids Works
When we accept items for sale, we review them based on suitability and current market demand. Once approved, we manage the entire preparation process and place the items into an online auction. Our sales run through HiBid Ontario, allowing buyers across the region to participate from home.
After the auction closes, we coordinate payment and buyer pickup. Sellers receive a clear summary of what sold along with the proceeds. For select higher value pieces, we may recommend private brokerage and reach out to collectors within our network.

A very professional auction company. We had to find buyers for a family member’s house contents. John came by and was extremely knowledgeable. He ended up taking most of the items, which were then sold in one of his online auctions. They did everything. We didn’t have to worry about organizing, boxing, shipping to Visbids, or the listing of all the items online (ie, research, photos, desc on the website). Once the items were sold, John took care of all the shipping to the customers. Visbids’ costs were very reasonable.
