I’ve had the pleasure of collecting some of the most unique and remarkable items from around the world, each with its own story to tell.

Affectionately known as the Ronsonian, my collection represents a lifetime of passion, adventure, and an underlying curiosity for the rare and extraordinary.

It’s time to share this treasure trove with the world, giving others the chance to own a piece of history that is as unique as they are.

Up for auction are a variety of items each more extraordinary than the last especially appealing to:
• Collectors of Canadian Nostalgia
• Bicycle Enthusiasts
• Automotive and Industrial Collectors
• Unique Art Collectors
• Music Lovers
• Advertising Industry Memorabilia from 1980s-2000s

A Piece Of Honest Ed’s
Among the highlights is a neon martini sign from Honest Ed Mirvish , an iconic figure in Canadian history. This sign isn’t just a piece of neon, it’s a slice of Toronto’s vibrant past. Honest Ed was a showman, known for his antique filled restaurants and his most famous discount store. This restored sign is a reminder of the colourful characters who made their mark on the world, and now can light up your space.

Bicycle Enthusiasts
Bicycle enthusiasts will find their hearts racing at a chance to own not one but five incredible bikes from my collection.

This includes:
• A hand built Marinoni racing bike, a testament to fine craftsmanship and speed.
• Western Flyer, never ridden, and the same make preferred by none other than Pee-wee Herman.
• A few beautiful imported, mint condition cruisers

These bikes aren’t just modes of transportation, they are works of art!

Automotive and Industrial History
For those with an eye for automotive and industrial history, there’s a mint condition, bright yellow, White Roses gas pump. It really is a true gem. To me this is not a relic. It’s a beacon of when service stations were heartbeats of small towns. It has been restored to its original glory.

One Of A Kind Hand Painted Marlin
Another standout piece is a hand painted Marlin, almost 10 feet in length. It was painted like a hot rod, with flames coming out the sides and is truly a one of a kind masterpiece. This Marlin is sure to inspire you.

For The Music Lovers
Music lovers will revel in the carefully curated record collection that has been a cornerstone of the Ronsonian. This isn’t just a stack of vinyl. It’s a journey through music that defined generations. Each record was chosen not for just its musical quality but for significance in the broader tapestry of culture and history.

An Original Mad Man
After 40+ years in advertising, the auction also includes a variety of advertising memorabilia. Books, bookshelves, lights, tables, signage, art, and countless other treasures the reflect the lifetime of discerning taste, and a passion for the unusual.

Each piece in the Ronsonian was selected by me with care and a keen eye for quality and history.

Though parting with these treasures is bittersweet, I am confident they will bring the next collector as much joy and delight as they have brought me. This is your chance to own a piece of the Ronsonian, a collection as unique as the items within it.

Don’t miss the opportunity to bring a piece of this extraordinary collection into your life.

Ron
