A terrific example of Carling’s advertising from the 1950’s. This Red Cap Ale diorama sign uses humour and word play, employing a “red cap” to “THINK RED CAP”. Very MCM Mad Men, with underlighting to increase the drama!
TIMEX MARLIN
A wonderful vintage Timex Marlin Calendar Mechanical watch from 1973. The quintessential, affordable watch of the time, with great “Pepsi” design. This very seventies looking watch is running beautifully, and keeps accurate time. All original.

From the Circa collection of Antique & Vintage Vernacular Photography (1850-1970), this matte mounted street photography portrait indexes the tradition of street photographers such as Bresson, Maier and Herzog. From a c1960’s portfolio.
UNTITLED, JACOB WEXLER
Israeli artist Jacob Wexler (1912-1995) was a founder of the Ofakim Hadashim art movement in 1948. Abstract organic shapes comprise this signed, four colour lithograph on rag paper. In good condition, this is one of three works by Wexler available in this sale.
MCM SCOOP SETTEE
With a design influence of Mies van der Rohe and Hans Wegner (Huber Scoop), this tufted leatherette and chrome loveseat/settee is in beautiful condition, from the mid 60’s. The chrome sparkles, and there are no flaws in the upholstery. A real MCM gem.
VINTAGE LEATHER BOX BAG
In the style of Etienne Aigner (1904-2000), this beautiful hand made box bag (unsigned) dates from the mid 1950’s. With brass hardware and scoop handle.
